The meals we offer during our flights, and the quantities of each type of meal stored, are based on carefully assimilated data collected through surveys, onboard comments and various other feedback media we have received from our passengers. We thank you for highlighting your disappointment with our selection on your journey with us and assure you that this information has been taken into account in the ongoing process of product evaluations by the director of menu design and meal development.
Furthermore, your perspective of the handling of the situation by our cabin crew is understandable. The service we provide during these unexpected situations ultimately determines how our customers feel about us and will differentiate Lufthansa from our competitors. Our personnel are expected to do everything possible to hold inconvenience to a minimum and we offer our apologies that the service you received was not in line with our standards.
