PETA heeft weer een nieuwe 'Sexiest'-verkiezing en ditmaal mag de gewone sterveling ook mee doen. Hoewel gewoon... je moet natuurlijk wel uitermate hot en begerenswaardig zijn. En vegan of vegetarier.
Je moet je opgeven voor 12 augustus. Naast eeuwige roem krijgt de winna(a)r(es) een leuk prijzenpakket.
"Vegetarian" has become synonymous with "sexy", and Hollywood has taken notice. Stars such as Russell Brand, Joaquin Phoenix, Natalie Portman, Jay McGuiness, Eliza Doolittle and Alicia Silverstone all follow a vegetarian diet, which keeps their bodies looking hot and helps them sizzle on the big screen.
But it's time for the celebrities to step aside, because now we're looking for Europe's sexiest vegetarian "boy and girl next door" – and this year, we'll be sending the lucky winners a deluxe bundle of goodies from some of our favourite ethical companies!
If you send temperatures soaring wherever you go – with both sizzling looks and a heart of gold – enter our contest, and you might be selected as the hottest guy or gal around! Here's how it will work: A committee will narrow down the entrants to eight male and eight female finalists. They'll be announced on PETA's website, and people around the world will be able to vote for the hottest. We'll use the voting results to help us choose the winners in two rounds of head-to-head match-ups. The winners will then appear on PETA's website.
Now on to the important part – the prizes! In addition to the esteemed title, the male and female winners will each receive a bundle of prizes from some of the UK's most ethical companies.

Contest Guidelines
Anyone from Europe is eligible.
All entrants must be at least 18 years old.
Pictures must be tasteful, and the entrant must be either vegetarian or vegan.
High-resolution photos are required. The image must be sharp (not blurry or fuzzy) and well lit, and only the entrant should be appear in the photograph. Please remember that people will be choosing to vote for you based primarily on the photograph you submit, so it's best to make it count.
Entrants should not be celebrities; however, if were your hometown's beauty queen or you've appeared in your local fire-fighters' calendar, you still qualify.
The entry round ends on 12 August. The finalists will be notified and featured on PETA's website by 19 August. Voting on the finalists ends 11 September. People can vote for their favourite candidates but ultimately PETA will choose two winners – one male and one female – based on their votes received, their commitment to the animal cause, and of course, how hot they are! Winners will be notified and announced on 12 September. We will be giving away a selection of cruelty-free prizes.
