"Situated in Via Margutta, flanked by art galleries, a step from the Piazza del Popolo, and a few moments from the spot where Gregrory Peck took Audrey Hepburn in the film "Roman Holiday", this is an oasis in a desert. It offers fine vegetarian dining, with plenty of vegan options. I felt at home there and highly recommend it. Their website is

"Very good food! A little more expensive but the atmosphere is very elegant, recommend dressing for dinner. Doesn't open for dinner til 7:45 pm. Also offers all you can eat buffet lunch for about $30. Vegan and vegetarian dishes aren't distinguished - but the staff seem to speak English very well and the menu is HUGE!"

"What a beautiful restaurant!! It's located at the end of a wonderful street. The food was spectacular! I had a wonderful porcini mushroom tart. The desserts were out of this world. The service, which I'm sure had to do with my waiter, was a bit slow. Plan to spend a few hours there to get the maximum benefit. This is not a budget restaurant. It cost us about 50,000 lira (about US$25/ea.). They charge for everything, including water and bread, which I found a bit distasteful, since this was the only restaurant that charged for bread in my two weeks in Italy. Dinner starts late here, at around 8 PM. The restaurant is very close to the Spanish Steps and the shopping district. Sadly, smoking is permitted throughout the restaurant."

"Classy scenery with tofu, seitan and tempura among the entrées. A fancy dessert tray charms guests."
